Friday February 15 at 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm ~Coffee House, featuring local acoustic guitarist Don Bartenstein playing folk and classic Americana.
Don is very active in the local music scene and can often be heard playing at open mics in Concord, Bristol, and other surrounding towns. His music can be heard at http://www.reverbnation.
Don will be followed by Trio Dolama: one piano, one cello, one violin. The trio plays nouveau tango, locally composed jazz, spirited classical, and beat poetry-Bach inventions.
Doug Kendall (cello) is a Latin teacher at Holderness School. He’s been a member of the Lakes Region String Quartet since 1985.
Larry Blaine (violin) is a professor of mathematics at PSU who relates his music expertise to mathematics in his “Math and Humanities” classes.
Martha Shepp (piano) is an expressive arts enthusiast, graphic designer, and musician who believes that all the arts belong together.
Come Have Your Ear’s Tickled. We will serve homemade desserts, maybe something new this time, but definitely chocolate covered strawberries. We will offer a selection of teas and coffees. $10 admission covers it all
On Sunday, February 17 at 10 am Vince Ribas will present a service on Charles Darwin and the Theory of Evolution. (This is a change from the schedule announced in our newsletter.) Soup and Bread Sunday. Anyone willing can bring Soup and Bread to share with the fellowship. All are invited to eat!
